Product overview

Megatron Markets gives participating desks one place to discover prices and submit orders for model-specific AI capacity. The terminal and API speak the same instrument, unit, order, and fee vocabulary.

The product

Each tradable product identifies:

  • a model and a provider endpoint;
  • a service tier used to select or rank eligible endpoints;
  • a weighted bundle of Prompt, Cache read, Cache write, and Output token legs; and
  • a spot term or a forward tenor and delivery window.

That identity matters. Capacity for a different model, provider, bundle, or delivery period is a different product, even when the total number of tokens is the same. See What is traded.

The two markets

Spot products are sized in whole tokens and quoted per MT, where 1 MT is one million tokens. Forward products describe future-delivery capacity, are sized in MFT, and include a tenor and delivery window. A forward instrument records a future-delivery term; the participant API does not describe it as a standardized futures contract.

Units covers exact decimal wire values. Spot and forward instruments covers the term fields and the curve.

Ways to trade

  • Use the central order book for limit, market, stop, stop-limit, and pegged orders.
  • Request or provide a negotiated quote through RFQ and voice workflows.
  • Review existing execution-algo records and use the supported pause or cancel controls.

All state-changing requests act for a selected desk. Start with Getting started, then use the API reference when integrating directly.

Three sides of the venue

Provider desk

Selling capacity

A provider publishes model-specific availability and commercial constraints, answers requests for quote, and places sell orders on spot or forward bundle instruments.

Buyer desk

Securing capacity

A buyer builds a four-leg workload bundle, compares eligible provider prices, previews fees, and submits spot or forward orders.

Broker desk

Working negotiated flow

A broker raises and answers requests for quote, runs voice sessions, submits orders, and reviews desk records under a selected account.
